the TRANSLATION NEED
In 2015, Englewood adopted a specific Unengaged Unreached People Group (UUPG). A UUPG is a people group that does not have access to the gospel or less than 1% of the population are Christian. According to the IMB (International Mission Board), there are over 3,000 people groups representing nearly 400 million people worldwide still without access to the gospel.
- There are roughly 1 million people in our adopted UUPG worldwide.
- Most live in Central Asia, while the rest live in diaspora (scattered) around Europe.
- Currently, the only scripture they have in their heart language is Luke and John (which Englewood helped fund).
