Englewood CARE GROUPS
One way people can engage in REAL COMMUNITY at Englewood is by joining a Care Group. These groups are designed to provide the support and help needed to overcome the struggles of broken people living in a broken world. Check out our current class listings below:
Sunday Care Group (Highland Campus)
GriefShare (begins August 17)
Leaders: Linda Hightower and Joanna Moore
Location: WFH 152 | 11AM
Description: A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
Wednesday Care Group (Highland Campus)
DivorceCare
Leaders: Steve & Debbie Wilson
Location: WEB 202 | 6 PM
Description: Healing from divorce is not easy. At DivorceCare, people in separation and divorce find tools, teaching, and support to help them deal with their pain and give them hope for the future. If you are facing this, you know it’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never encountered before. DivorceCare meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
We are looking to add more Care Groups at Englewood, such as:
Divorce Care
Cancer Care
Celebrate Recovery
If you are interested in leading one of these groups, send us an email at
