When You Pray | Women's Study (begins October 16)
Leader: Tammy Valdivia
Cost: $25 (Prayer Study Guide included in registration)
Location: Wednesdays | Room 119 | 6PM
Description: Do you have trouble thinking of words to say to God when you pray? Are you afraid some emotions are too intense to express to God? Do you reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. Prayer is how we relate to God, but sometimes it’s a struggle. In this 7-session study, we will study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Above all, you’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As you draw near to God through prayer, you’ll find your faith strengthened and your heart united to Christ.
Join our Women's Ministry on December 5 for a Christmas dinner and program! Come be inspired as four incredible women—Carol Bivens, Melinda Stewart, Kathleen George, and Abby Coleman Bitterling—share powerful testimonies of how others have poured into their lives, shaping their journeys with Jesus. Come and be encouraged and motivated to make an impact!
"Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come." — Psalm 71:18
